C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc.
Overview
C.H. Robinson is a global logistics provider offering freight transportation and comprehensive supply chain services across multiple modes: truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), ocean, air, intermodal, and value-added services. The company operates a proprietary technology ecosystem, Navisphere, and applies Lean AI to optimize carrier selection, pricing, scheduling, and operations. It provides end-to-end solutions including 3PL/4PL services, freight consolidation, cross-border logistics, customs brokerage and compliance, supply chain consulting and design, warehousing, cargo insurance, and analytics.
In many engagements C.H. Robinson contracts directly with carriers on behalf of customers; in Managed Solutions arrangements it typically acts as the shipper’s agent while the carrier contract remains with the customer and the company earns service fees.
