Overview
Comcast is a global media and technology company that delivers connectivity and platform services, and creates content and experiences. Its core offerings are organized into two businesses: Connectivity & Platforms (residential broadband, wireless, video, voice, and Sky-branded networks and platforms) and Content & Experiences (media and entertainment content, studios, and Universal theme parks).
On January 2, 2026, Comcast completed the separation of Versant Media Group, Inc. (ticker: VSNT) into an independent company. Versant included MS NOW (MSNBC), CNBC, USA Network, Golf Channel, E!, SYFY, Oxygen, and digital platforms GolfNow, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and SportsEngine. The separation was structured as a tax-free spin-off for U.S. federal income tax purposes.
